UK Cover and Libriomancer Winners
In the UK, Amazon has posted the Del Rey UK cover art for Codex Born, which comes out over there in November of this year. It doesn’t have Lena Greenwood, which is disappointing, but I love the artwork.
Author Steven Schend offered the following caption over on Facebook:
“I’m Isaac Vanio. I’m here to kick ass and read books…and I’ve finished all my books.”

This is the first time I’ve won something since…I can’t remember when the last time I won something was! I can’t wait to get my copy, and I can’t wait to read “Codex Born”!

Good cover!
Thank you for holding the giveaway. I’ll be watching for more of them on Twitter, now you’ve informed us of that too.
Congratulations to both the author & the winners.

Wow, that is a gorgeous cover. I think I still prefer the US version, though – both characters are shown as very much don’t-f-with-me heroes, but Lena’s cover is so beautifully suffused with light and it tells us a lot about who she is. This one is a little more generic-heroish. But the detail, with the smolder of Smudge casting that warm light against the overall cold, is very nice. OK, I like them both and think you are lucky to have cover artists who seem to really “get” what you’re writing about.
