The Legend of Jig Dragonslayer
As some of you already know, my book Libriomancer is scheduled to come out in August of next year.
But that’s not all! DAW has confirmed that they’ll be releasing The Legend of Jig Dragonslayer, an omnibus edition of my three goblin books, in July of 2012.
Woo hoo! Jig’s getting his own omnibus! And it’s coming out right before Libriomancer, meaning I should have two new books on the shelves next summer.
This makes me happy in so many ways. I love that DAW is continuing to show so much faith in me, in my new books and my old. I love that Jig and Smudge will get the chance to find some new readers. And it’s pretty cool that I’ll finally have my very own doorstopper-sized fantasy book 🙂
To celebrate the Goblinbus news, have a pic of Smudge throwing up his legs in arachnid victory!
Have a great weekend, all!

Great. Another book I’m going to have to buy for my dad. 😉
In case the wink didn’t get the point across, I am really happy about this. 😀 Dad loves Jig as much as I do. And he liked the Libriomancer story in Goblin Tales too, so that’ll be another double purchase as he doesn’t have a Kindle. Hehe.

I’m always happy to sell more books, but Legend won’t have any new material, so if he already has the three goblin books… I just don’t want anyone thinking there’s going to be a *new* goblin story and then feeling disappointed.

No, he doesn’t have the three goblin books, actually. I bought him Goblin Tales from Lulu.com and that’s how he got hooked. The only paper copy I have of any of the goblin books is the autographed Goblin Quest, and I’m keeping that one.
So an omnibus actually makes the whole thing that much easier.

I’ll buy it just to say I have it. It’ll compliment the other three.

I haven’t read the Goblin books yet (just all the Princess books) so I will probably pick up this omnibus edition when it comes out.

Of course you do. Just remember Jaclyn needs goblins, too. 🙂

Actually, to reduce clutter in the flat, the omnibus makes perfect sense; and then I can donate the paperbacks to be sneaky and try to get you more readers, that way.

This plan also gets the official stamp of approval 🙂

^_^ Since I own all the Jig Goblin series on my nook, I’ll purchase the omnibus to have as my material copy (and the one to pass to others to encourage them to read the series as well). :3 I look forward to it!

I don’t know. I’m guessing mass market or trade paperback, but that’s just a guess.

Of course this happens right after I have my bookstore special order “Goblin Quest;” I just finished my second read-through of the Princess series and it’s time to press onward.
Ah, well. I’ll doubtless end up ordering all three; there’s no way I’m waiting till next summer to read these.

we librarians like omnibus editions. Less processing needed — 1 book vs three — and we don’t have to worry about the first or second volumes going missing. So when’s the Princess omnibus scheduled? 😉

Heh. I suspect we’ll need to wait and see how the goblins 3-in-1 does before we start pushing for a princess omnibus 🙂

This is great news.
I have been pondering, for quite a while, to get the 3 Goblin Books, but now I´ll definately wait for the omnibus.
