Fan Art and a Sneak Peek At Snow Queen
After three days of rather long and sometimes intense blog posts and discussions, I figured it was time to change it up a bit and go with something light and fun. So here, check out some new fan art from the goblin art page. Disco goblins! I love it! (From serialbabbler.)
And here are some sweet goblin sketches by Michael Cannon that I haven’t had time to add to the art page yet.

Also, for those of you who want a sneak peek, I present to you the first few paragraphs of The Snow Queen’s Shadow. Those of you on the Facebook fan page may have already seen this. But for the rest of you who want a taste of what I’ve been working on for the past year, click on.

The plan had been so simple: sneak into the Sailor’s Bone inn, where Snow White would cast a spell of sleep upon the two fugitive witchhunters, who could then be brought to Whiteshore Palace to face trial.
The plan had certainly not included Snow finding herself staring down the pointy end of a silver-tipped arrow, wielded by a man known to have murdered at least eleven witches, while fire spread through the upper story.
It went without saying that it was entirely Talia’s fault.

This is nothing. Some time next year, I’ll be posting the full first chapter or so as a preview.
I may include a warning not to read it. Seriously. Because when you reach the end of the first chapter and then have to wait for the book to come out, you’re gonna be really pissed with me 🙂
(At least, I hope so. Maybe you’ll just shrug and walk away, but that’s depressing to think about. I prefer to imagine angry crowds, all desperate to see what comes next.)

I’m sharpening the pitchfork as I type this 😉 OK, that sounded really rude in my head.
I didn’t read the first chapter of RHR, and I won’t read it for the next one either. Still doesn’t stop you being evil 😛

Oh my god, cruel preview. Clearly I have some masochistic tendencies, because I ALWAYS read these previews and I ALWAYS feel like “well crap why did I do that” afterwards.
See? Three sentences and you already have me whining about this. That’s talent.

I’m an author. “Evil” is part of the job description.
And thank you 😉
