Invisible 3 Reveal: Cover and Contributors
Work on Invisible 3 continues! At this point, we have signed contracts from all contributors, and our marvelous introduction-writer is hard at work writing the introduction.
We also have cover art, which includes our list of contributors!
(The introduction bit is blurred out because I’m superstitious about sharing names before everything is done and signed.)
The introduction arrived in my inbox shortly after I posted this, so we can also announce now that it’s by K. Tempest Bradford!
We don’t have a firm release date yet, but it won’t be too long now.
In the meantime, thank you to:
- Alex Conall
- Alliah
- Alyssa Hillary
- Benjamin Rosenbaum
- Brandon O’Brien
- Carrie Sessarego
- Chelsea Alejandro
- Dawn Xiana Moon
- Fran Wilde
- Jaime O. Mayer
- Jennifer Cross
- Jeremy Sim
- Jo Gerrard
- Mari Kurisato
- MT O’Shaughnessy
- Rebecca Roanhorse
- Sean Robinson
- T. S. Bazelli
for your amazing work. We can’t wait to share it with the world.

Oh there’s a typo in my name’s link: a “.bio” after the “.br”

Jeff – I’m aware of Mr. Upkins’ post. I wrote about this two years ago when it happened, at http://www.jimchines.com/2015/04/follow-up-on-upkins-guest-post/
I have no intention of wasting further time on this.

But Jim!
Flouncing off the internet after being called out on racism isn’t what you’re supposed to do remember?

Jeff – From your comments, I get the sense you haven’t actually read or understood either of my posts that we linked, and that you’re less concerned about Upkins than you are with trying to score points against me. I’m not sure why – I apologize, but I have no idea who you are or why you’d care. But I really do have more important things to do with my time. So if it makes you feel better, sure, tell yourself you’ve won whatever game you think you’re playing here. Regardless, though, it’s time for you to move along.

But hey, Jim. I just reread cuz what the hell… and there I am in one of your comment threads going on and on at what would be the precursor of my essay.
So. That was fun. Weird, but fun. It’s strange to reread my comments ‘cuz they are the first stages of articulating some things I’d been trying to nail down. And this essay is the latest. Fascinating circuit from there to here.
But meh. Read the links. (shrug) Not my circus, not my flying monkeys. Not today. I’m in too good a mood. The cover is out, the list is public, I can talk about it and I also go to do a panel yesterday for an interdisciplinary course on HIV, which I ADORE doing. So… I’m good. 😉

And that’s another reason for not wasting any more time on derailing comments. This is a post for celebrating the awesomeness that is INVISIBLE 3, and the wonderful people who contributed to it!

@ Jeff Maher: I see that you are not in fact familiar with all Internet traditions. That’s not a flounce. That’s a PLONK.
