Yours is one of my regular stopping off points for the thoughtful posts you, um, post.
But I gotta air a beef I have with some of the links you provide.
I love animals, especially cats, so I’m always eager to click on links (here and elsewhere) about them. Except…far too often those links connect to material that is thinly disguised animal cruelty.
I think the link you provide (Cats Photographed in Mid Jump) is an example. The second photograph would be more accurately described as: A Cat Photographed in Mid Throw. There is nothing in the photo from which this cat could be jumping. The same is true in some (most?) of the other pictures.
Not having a clear understanding of the complete room in which the photo is taken, it is possible I am wrong. But that second photo sure looks like a cat being thrown through a doorway.
I understand the imperative of generating click throughs, but I tend not to follow my urge to click because of that unsavory aspect that is all to common in animal photos.
I hope you reconsider this link in particular, and the issue it raises. Thanks.
