Roundup of Revisionary Links
Some stuff that’s come out this week…
- Representation and the Seeds of Possibility. Talking about the power and importance of representation and inclusion, over on Suvudu. (This has also been getting some love over on Tumblr.)
- Fantasy, Fandom, and Fatherhood. A review and Q&A at The Maine Edge.
- Stories of Magic and Vice Versa. Guest blog post and a book giveaway at Deborah Blake’s blog.
- Michigan Volumes is a radio show that just posted an hour-long chat with me.
- Once and Future Podcast also had me as a guest. This was from two weeks ago, but close enough!
- Kirkus included Revisionary on their list of Can’t Miss February SFF.
Right now, territorial restrictions make it difficult to get the book if you’re outside of North America. The publisher is working on expanding availability, but in the meantime, here are a few other options:
- Book Depository: Offers free worldwide delivery of print books.
- Wordery: Ditto.
- ShopMate: This site was recommended on Facebook for Australian residents.
Finally, huge thanks to everyone who’s not only read the book, but been posting reviews at Amazon, Goodreads, etc.
Normal blogging should resume next week, once I recover from New Book Week.

I’m about halfway through. Everything’s a little tense right now, but I’m enjoying it. If it weren’t for that stupid work thing I’d be through it already.
Although I’ve been thinking and I think I prefer fiction in our world where other than certain kinds of speculative scifi, authors don’t have the expectation that their creations might come true.

No spoilers:
I LOL at “What a tool!”
I slept from about 4 AM to 8 AM the other night… really just a long nap… because BOOK MUST BE READ.

Honestly, if it weren’t for modern pharmaceuticals, I’d have been up all night, but after I dropped the tablet for the 3rd time, I gave in to the lure of chemicals bathing my brain.

Just…wow. Wow. I couldn’t put it down. Minor confession: at the end of Codex Born? I put my hand against the last page and pushed gently. You wrote such a convincing, amazing story that I was completely sucked in. Revisionary knocked me off my feet again, and I am already excited for what you do with your next contract. (Now to prepare for Brandon Sanderson’s new book in two weeks. Think I’ll spend them rereading Revisionary.)
