Did you succeed at your first milestone of sleeping in Monday morning?
Don’t worry, Jim. You’ll get better at it. It just requires practice. Daily practice. Dedicated practice.

Yay for sleeping in! But you’ve reminded me that those of us who grew up in California have a different way of looking at things than people from less earthquake prone parts of the country. Bookshelf over your bed is just asking for death by a thousand paperbacks 🙂

I cannot get the photo to load, but if there are books above your bed then what Kim said. 🙂
Sally August 31, 2015 @ 4:35 pm
I think they’re DVDs or video games, which weigh much less, but still… all those corners and edges!
I guess it beats the time I had no option in rental property but to put the bed directly underneath a plate glass window. Hooboy. I moved the blackout double-thick curtains to that.

You know, “artistic” is SO not the word that came to mind when I saw this picture.

If you were the protagonist of your very own Hero’s Tale, not only would you have slept in, but you would have overslept on your Very Special Day.

Nope, all books. You’re seeing part of my To Be Read piles.
And ouch. Yeah, bed under plate glass sounds … not ideal.

As you’ve obviously not painted your beard, someone should do that next time you’re sleeping in ^_^ .
